Maico embroidered patch is yellow twill with black embroidered measuring 4″ wide. Its like finding a never ending source for those Maico patches from days gone by. Now you can get enough to sew them to everything you own. Embroidered 2 1/2″ tall, 4″ wide Can be ironed or sewed on Maicowerk A.G. was a West German motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1926 by Ulrich Maisch. After WWII Maico began producing motorcycles, ungainly looking scooters and even a small car. But they are most famous for their line of motocross, enduro and desert race bikes. Unfortunately they are no longer around, but you can find them at vintage races. And Maicos in good condition can fetch up to three times their original purchase price– wish I kept my 250s, 440s and 490s that I raced in the 70s and 80s.
