Overview The Harvard Management of Pancreatic Disorders for the Practicing Clinician 2025 course provides an in-depth, evidence-based review of the latest diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for pancreatic diseases. The program explores a wide spectrum of clinical challenges, including the comprehensive management of acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cyst surveillance, and multi-disciplinary interventions for pancreatic adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine tumors. Course Date: September 26 – 27, 2025 Strengthen your clinical approach to pancreatic disorders with this global course featuring expert led insights on acute and chronic pancreatitis, cysts, and rare subtypes designed to equip providers across all settings with practical evidence based strategies for improving patient outcomes. Pancreatic diseases are common gastrointestinal disorders; however, there is significant variability in the way patients are diagnosed and managed. The goal of this course to provide real-world education to practicing clinicians nationally and internationally in order to improve patient outcomes. Our target audience includes not only experts from HMS, but also community and other academic providers that will benefit from in depth knowledge regarding pancreatic diseases. Both course directors are medical pancreatologists who run multidisciplinary pancreas programs are their respective institutions. Topics and speakers for each talk were selected based on personal clinical experience and through multidisciplinary discussions of knowledge gaps which exist when providing care to patients. The goal is to provide world-expert education to all clinicians who care for patients with pancreatic disorders. All course faculty were selected with the HMS Diversity Statement in mind. A concerted effort was made to achieve the appropriate representation of women, racial/ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities, and other individuals underrepresented in medicine. The following topics will be covered: acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, autoimmune pancreatitis, pancreatic tumors, pancreatic cysts, and pediatric pancreatology. In this second edition, we will cover new and updated topics in pancreatology, offering fresh insights beyond last year’s program. 2.
